Leena S. Hingnikar

Leena Hingnikar is a Certified Family Law Specialist. She has been practicing exclusively family law for over twelve years.

Leena represents a wide range of clients, from stay-at-home parents to business owners. Whether your case involves complex courtroom litigation, mediation settlement matters, or even consulting services, Leena has the experience to effectively help you navigate this difficult experience.

Leena has significant experience with high conflict custody issues and complex financial and property issues, including business valuations, high earner income/ support issues, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and trusts.

Leena began her career at the preeminent Los Angeles family law firm, Walzer Melcher LLP, where she practiced for over ten years and became a partner before deciding to start her own firm.

In addition to her practice, Leena spends time volunteering to further advance the family law community. She is currently the Vice-Chair and Live Education Chair of the Family Law Section of the California Lawyers Association. She spends significant time reviewing and commenting on family law legislation, as well as planning continuing legal education programs to help educate other attorneys in the field of family law. Leena also volunteers with the Daily Settlement Officer program through the Los Angeles Superior Court, helping litigants try and settle their family law disputes. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Levitt Quinn, a non-profit organization which provides low cost/pro bono legal services to low income families.
