The Plaintiff stepped out of his apartment onto the apartment building’s outdoor walkway when the Plaintiff tripped and fell on a round tree dropping (liquidambar tree dropping). Several months prior t ... o the Plaintiff’s fall, other tenants at the building reported falls and injuries as a result of the same dangerous tree droppings. The apartment building did nothing to safeguard its tenants or the public from this known dangerous condition prior to Plaintiff’s fall. As a result, the Plaintiff suffered serious back injury which required surgery. Plaintiff went on to develop Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in his lower extremity. Farar & Lewiss, LLP was able to recover $1,300,000.00 for the Plaintiff one week before trial.
