Dana Alden Fox

Dana Fox is the Managing Partner of BD&J’s Pasadena office. Mr. Fox handles and tries high-profile and catastrophic injury, wrongful death, police use of force, premises liability, sexual assault, and product liability cases. While he spent years defending personal injury matters, he now brings his expertise to champion for plaintiffs in their pursuit of justice. Mr. Fox is committed to achieving the best results possible by fully leveraging his 40 years of trial experience.

Mr. Fox has a reputation as the go-to trial lawyer in high-exposure cases. His experience and skill secured him roles as lead counsel in many of California’s most high-profile and difficult cases. Mr. Fox is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, holds the elevated rank of Advocate with the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), and is a Fellow in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Fox has earned national and international renown through his work on several high stakes, widely reported cases. He advised Live Nation during the litigation arising out of the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting, as well as the Los Angeles Dodgers and its owner Frank McCourt, in Stow v. Los Angeles Dodgers. More recently, Mr. Fox represented Rust Movie Production, LLC, the company that produced the film Rust starring Alec Baldwin which saw a tragic accidental shooting on set.
