My husband and I hired Erick back in May, 2013 for a family petitioning process. Hoping and in search of a better future together after getting married in September 2012, we decided to start the petitioning process for my husband. We were very eager and excited to get the case going so we paid all th...e attorney's fees and provided all the necessary documentation within a timely manner. Every time I would reach out to Erick to inquire about our case, through emails, calls, and even texts, he would come up with an excuse as to why there was no update. We trusted him. We really wanted to trust him and basically was blinded by hope. We tried communicating with him several times but there were always irrational excuses as to why we couldn't get a final answer or even a receipt number for our case. Summer 2015, we came to realize Erick had been lying to us for about 2 years and had not done anything with our case. After putting more pressure that summer, he finally provided us with a receipt number which indicated he had barely submitted the I-130 (the very first application to start the case) on August, 2015. All hopes down the drain. We decided to terminate our contract with him and start all over again with someone new.
