Kimberly Maria Talley

Kimberly M. Talley has had the distinctive honor of being named one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Southern California by the Super Lawyers Publication for 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013.  In 2012, she was selected to become a Fellow for the American Bar Foundation, an honorary society that is limited to the top one percent of all attorneys licensed to practice in the United States.

For the last 20 plus years, Ms. Talley has devoted her practice to management-side labor and employment law. She is favorably regarded in the legal community as an effective advocate in labor and employment arbitrations, negotiations, hearings and administrative proceedings, in all phases of litigation and at trial in state and federal courts.

Ms. Talley regularly represents employers and individual defendants in single plaintiff, multi-plaintiff and class action lawsuits, in both state and federal court, including employment discrimination, retaliation, harassment, failure to accommodate, wage and hour, wrongful termination, breach of contract, tort and other employment claims. She is skilled in all facets of discovery and fact-gathering, legal research, law and motion, and courtroom advocacy.

Ms. Talley has conducted numerous investigations into alleged workplace misconduct and other complaints brought by employees. In addition to her litigation experience, she provides day-to-day advice and counseling to clients concerning all aspects of the employer-employee relationship.

In 2010, Ms. Talley had the distinctive privilege of becoming a published author as one of several contributing authors in the American Bar Association’s Second Edition of its book called “The Woman Advocate.” My chapter is entitled “Succeeding As A Woman of Color.
