Christiaan Joseph Gordon

Christiaan Gordon is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, with a degree in American Studies and Film Studies.  While attending U.C. Davis, Mr. Gordon studied abroad in Granada, Spain and spent a summer working as an intern for U.S. Congresswoman Jane Harman (Ret.) in her Washington, D.C. Office.   

After his graduation from college, and prior to his commencement of the study of law, Mr. Gordon worked in the film and music industry.  He first worked at the 20th Century Fox Studios in its film and television music department.  He left Fox Studios to manage musical performers where he decided to pursue a legal career.

Mr. Gordon attended Southwestern University School of Law,  where he received his Juris Doctorate degree.  While attending Southwestern University, he was a John J. Schumacher Scholarship recipient.  While studying law, Mr. Gordon worked as a law clerk in the Legal Department of Union Bank.  In addition, he externed with the Recording Industry Association (RIAA).  

Upon graduation from  law school, Mr. Gordon commenced employment as a law clerk with the Law Offices of Errol Jay Gordon, A Professional Corporation, which is now GORDON │ GORDON │ LAWYERS, A Professional Corporation.  In June 2006, Mr. Gordon was admitted to the Bar of the State of California.  He has also been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Mr. Gordon currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar-Family Law Section on the Executive Committee.  He serves as a member of the subcommittee regarding outreach and social media.  In 2011, Mr. Gordon attended the Houston Family Law Trial Institute, a nationally recognized trial advocacy program which provides advanced training and education in Family Law trials and litigation.

Mr. Gordon practices family law, including dissolution of marriage (divorce), child custody, support, asset division and domestic violence.  His practice also includes probate, civil and personal injury litigation.  Mr. Gordon relishes the difficult and complex case.
