Chad Curtis Geving

Chad C. Geving is an associate attorney in the Los Angeles office of Klinedinst. He works on professional liability, financial services, and business cases. Prior to joining Klinedinst, Mr. Geving was an associate attorney at O'Melveny & Myers LLP. Mr. Geving has extensive litigation experience, and is admitted to practice in California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Geving received his bachelor's degree in 2001 from the University of Minnesota, where he majored in political science and psychology. He also attended the University of Minnesota for law school, where he graduated magna cum laude and was admitted into the Order of the Coif.

Mr. Geving is a very active member of the community. He has worked on many pro bono cases, including representing a victim of domestic violence in receiving a work permit, and helping an adoptive parent receive foster care benefits. He has also done significant work with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. As a member of the organization's Associates Advisory Board, he has supported LAFLA's mission of providing free legal services to the poor, and raising money for the Bill Smith Homeless Veterans Project.

In his free time, Mr. Geving enjoys spending time with his family. His hobbies include cooking, wine tasting, and sports.
