Alisa Shu Edelson

Alisa S. Edelson is Counsel in the Los Angeles office of Klinedinst PC with significant experience in the areas of business, professional liability, entertainment, and intellectual property law.

Ms. Edelson has represented individuals and businesses in a wide variety of disputes involving, among other things, unfair competition, defamation, trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, copyright and trademark infringement, idea submission, and wrongful termination in state and federal courts. In addition, she has counseled clients concerning branding and intellectual property protection and enforcement including with respect to due diligence, clearance, prosecution, and management. Ms. Edelson is also experienced in drafting website agreements, such as terms of use, privacy policies, and video and personal appearance releases.

Ms. Edelson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of California, Irvine and obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School. During law school, she held leadership positions as the Executive Editor and Chief Production Editor of the Entertainment Law Review. Ms. Edelson served as a judicial extern for the late Honorable Stephen M. Hillman of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
