Taught two classes on Business Law at Cal. State Northridge for a semester. Executive Director of Westside Legal Services (1988). Other pro bono work. Miscellaneous non-personal injury civil cases over the years. Deputy Public Defender, 1977-79. Numerous juvenile court cases - criminal defense for P.D. and later on the court's dependency panel. Business litigation including attorney malpractice and landlord-tenant as associate in a law firm, 1983-84.

I accept civil appeals now, but also did a number of criminal appeals on court appointment (CA Court of Appeals, L.A. Superior Court, and a 9th Circuit habeas corpus case) in the past. My civil cases dealt with civil procedure, torts, family law, probate, bankruptcy and civil forfeiture issues. Also did several writ applications including one related to voter's rights. Member of the Bar of the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Former 9th Circuit Rules of Practice Committee member.
