Jamey Alan Teitell

I should have read the reviews before I subjected myself to this firm. The ONE & ONLY time I ever spoke to Teitell was at the first hearing (over 5 years ago). He is NEVER in the office. He has NEVER returned my many, many calls. I don't believe he EVER gets anyone's messages or he chooses to ignore ...them. I will NEVER recommend him to anyone EVER! When you try to contact him, you get pushed around to someone who doesn't know what is going on. For the last 3 days I had to repeat the problem I was having to 3 different people in this office. I received a letter from my employer informing me that my employment is going to be terminated within 24 hours. I called Teitell's office for 3 days to find out what I should do. Well....he NEVER called me back. I don't even know if he got my messages because for 3 days the staff said there was no record of me calling. He's gotten 3 reviews, 2 of which are negative, Now, he'll have 4 reviews, 3 of which are negative.

2011 I retained Mr. Teitell for my Wrongful termination/discrimination and Workers Compensation case. Due to personal/family issues and a death in my family, I had to leave the state. Informing the attorney of this emergency, prior to leaving. I turned over more than 65 pages of evidence to his ju...nior counsel. Committing to return if needed for trial IME/AME, deposition, etc. I was informed that the defense did not want to pay for my return and they are asking for a deposition. I returned to California, and gave 3 weeks notice. When I arrived, I was informed by Mr. Teitell that defense does not want a deposition or an exam. confused by this sudden change, I questioned the status. When I asked for copies of documents from my file, Mr. Teitell refused to allow his paralegal to send me anything. When I inquired as to why, Mr. Teitell had no response. Mr. teitell began ranting, screaming and cursing on the phone at me. After calling my doctor;s office, I was informed that since 2011, Mr. Teitell or his office have never contacted my general doctor "ever". Shocked by this neglectful and mishandling of my case, I decided to hire another attorney. The office is unorganized, Mr. Teitell made derogatorry comments about his paralegal, calling her the "lowest level employee and she does not know anything!". The staff make comments about your case that is not accurate. On my case I called on a regular and was never informed of any notices from the workers comp board pertaining to my wrongful termination complaint. Now, 2 years later, I have had to start over with another attorney which has hindered my case. I would not recommend this attorney for ANYTHING.
