Although we had a legal department, my for-profit firm needed an attorney to draft their internal and web-based privacy and compliance policies. Many attorneys on staff were knowledgeable of human resource issues (e.g., PTO, maternity leave, etc.) sexual harassment issues and contracts, but none had... the expertise in privacy and compliance policy. We, therefore, consulted with Attorney Timothy Richardson. With minimum direction, Attorney Timothy Richardson drafted the policies that were quickly approved by our CEO and external partners. The policies were clearly written and easy for non-attorney persons to understand and apply. Our organization greatly benefited from his expertise.
