She is great and really smart. I just had a feeling I was going to get some really good insight on my case reaching out to her because of her years of practicing. I was not disappointed. There is truly nothing comparable to reaching out to a lawyer and just a brief interaction, you better understa...nd your case, not everyone has this touch, so yes, definitely recommended and I will give 10 stars, if I could. Thank you!

Lease Issue with extra occupant in my case, a 10 year old.

I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Nnogo Cecilia Obiamiwe recently, and I must say, that she truly went above and beyond to assist me with a challenging rental issue. My husband and I were facing a difficult situation where our landlord was insisting that we remove my 10-year-old niece from our r...ental property due to the terms of our lease agreement, which restricted additional occupants staying for more than two weeks. Ms. Obiamiwe's expertise and guidance were invaluable during this stressful time. Not only did she provide us with clear and concise information about our rights as tenants, but she also took the time to understand the specifics of our situation and tailor her advice accordingly. One of the most impressive aspects of Ms. Obiamiwe's assistance was the personalized letter she curated for us to present to our landlord. The letter was meticulously crafted, outlining our rights as tenants and respectfully addressing our landlord's concerns. It provided a professional and persuasive argument for allowing our niece to remain in our home while staying within the boundaries of our lease agreement.

Amazing lawyer very hands on and professional and talented

Nnogo is very empathetic and professional. She is very knowledgeable and experienced in both tenant law and employment law. She helped me settle a case with the tenant law. I sued the landlord by myself first thinking I would be willing to settle. But these landlord family is a convicted felon family... who hired numerous people to harass me illegally. I had to call police more than 15 times and have numerous police reports and the landlord family violated restraining orders. Nnogo helped me along the way with many areas of law. I am curious and enjoyed learning about the law working with her. She is very precise and hands-on which is rare to find in any other law firms big or small. Big law firms have many employees and charge a lot and don't really care about each case. I followed advice of Nnogo and we prepared things well. In the end, the case settled with very good amount thanks to her. It was impressive that she fought for me against the crooked jewish lawyer the landlord hired who threatened me and tried to kill me by sending assassins. The landlord was a criminal organization. I came out alive and with decent money. I highly recommend her. She tries to be better with her skills by continuously learning how to fight for you. She inspired me to consider being a lawyer myself. She is honest and very empathetic and helpful. The best lawyer you can find.

Such kind words! It was a huge pleasure working with a non-lawyer who is so knowledgeable about the law. Thank you for trusting me with your case.

Review of my case

I called over the holiday weekend looking for help in a matter as a tenant of residential/commercial unit in a constructive eviction situation and personal injury, due to the adjoining commercial tenant being permitted by her landlord to be an extreme nuisance even after being notified. The extreme ...nuisance affected entitled quiet enjoyment and free use of the property for many of the surrounding tenants. The Adjoining commercial tenant and her daughter assaulted and battered me so I closed my ice cream store that was directly below my apartment unit; I settled with my landlord, and moved out of my apartment and my ice cream store. It's a little complicated but the harm I suffered is clear cut. Attorney Nnogo Obiamiwe immediately responded this morning with a very detailed helpful message. Her specialty is landlord-tenant residential, not commercial, and she also handles employment issues. Thank you!

Illegal Unit Rental Suit

I am in the midst of suing my landlord for renting an illegal unit to me for over 3 years I came across Nnogo on avvo through an answer she did about the same topic and how thorough and knowledgeable she was about the topic. I reached out to see if she could represent me and just in the consultation ...alone she gave me advice on the next steps to take before the lawsuit is filed as well as emotional support. She understood the situation I was in and she proved to me that she cared not just about winning the case but also about making sure I was ok mentally. I’ve spoken to a handful of lawyers about this same case and no one else took the time to really ask questions and cover everything that can be done with this case. My landlord is making my life miserable and no other lawyer cared about that except Nnogo who said thats not right we are going to make sure she pays for all of it because she is breaking the law and trying to get away with it and make you miserable at the same time. Some lawyers make you feel like you have to fight them too Nnogo didn’t she made me feel like she was on my side from the start.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"Recently I made a pretty obvious mistake in answering a question on Avvo. Attorney Obiamiwe corrected it with enormous clarity and thoroughness. She also delivered a very technical answer with great compassion and eloquence. The concerned "asker" needed all these things to move forward. I am grateful for the generous contributions attorney Obiamiwe makes to the community, and to the legal profession."
