Charles M. Green

Charles M. Green is a Certified California Family Law Specialist and licensed CPA with over 27 years of experience representing clients in complex divorce, child custody, spousal support, domestic violence, and asset division matters throughout Los Angeles and California.

Charles earned his B.B.A. from Hofstra University in 1985, followed by an MBA in Public Accountancy from City University of New York, Bernard Baruch College, in 1989. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles in 1998 and founded his firm the same year.

Before entering law, Charles built his career at several international, New York, and local accounting and business management firms. That background as an active CPA is not just historical — it directly shapes how he handles financial matters in divorce, including business valuations, QDRO and retirement plan division, stock options, real property, and forensic financial disputes. Clients work with an attorney who reads the financials himself rather than outsourcing that analysis to third-party experts.

Charles holds the Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) designation from the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization — a credential held by fewer than 1% of California attorneys. The certification requires advanced experience, peer review, and ongoing education beyond standard bar requirements.
