Dennis Vincent Gallagher

Dennis is currently Chief Deputy Attorney General in the Nevada Attorney General's Office responsible for legal services to the Nevada Departments of the Transportation, Public Safety and Motor Vehicles. In this role Dennis oversees over twenty professionals.  Previously he practiced law and consulted companies involved in the gaming industry. He was also Vice President, Chief Regulatory & Compliance Officer and Associate General Counsel for Harrah's Entertainment (now Caesars Entertainment) where he oversaw the company's compliance program as well as its gaming licensing and corporate investigations functions. He was counsel to the company's government relations and internal audit departments and was also secretary for the Harrah's Foundation. Other positions he held at Harrah's include Vice President Legal Affairs of the western and central operating divisions where he was responsible for legal affairs of the company's commercial and tribal operations in the western, mid-western and southern regions of the US and for managing attorneys and other professionals in those divisions. Dennis also practiced law with the Schreck-Morris firm in Las Vegas. Dennis was also General Counsel and Secretary to Powerhouse Technologies (f/k/a Video Lottery Technologies, Inc.) where he was the Chief Legal Officer for a publicly traded corporation whose primary subsidiaries manufactured gaming and video lottery devices and operated on-line lottery systems for governments. Dennis also has served as the Chief of Investigations for the Nevada State Gaming Control Board and a Deputy Attorney General-Gaming Division.  Dennis is admitted to practice law in Nevada, California and Colorado.
