Samuel Figueroa

Samuel I. Figueroa is an attorney in Nevada. Mr. Figueroa specializes in misdemeanor crimes that range from DUIs to Domestic Battery along with minor traffic offenses. Mr. Figueroa has a passion for criminal defense because his father and uncle were incarcerated for a quarter of their lives before their deaths for drug and violent offenses. Further, Mr. Figueroa’s mother brought him to Church to recover from this familial tragedy. This also sparked his passion to be apart of the Church and trust in Jesus Christ. Due to the impact incarceration and Christ had on his life, Mr. Figueroa decided to pursue criminal defense and protect the rights of people who do not have a voice.

In 2015-2019, Mr. Figueroa majored in Theology at the University of St. Thomas and earned many academic achievements throughout his time in school.

In 2019-2022, Mr. Figueroa went to law school. During this time, he had two mentors who taught him how to write well and understand the black letter law. This led to him making the Dean’s List his entire third year and to pass the Nevada bar exam on his first attempt.

Outside of work, Mr. Figueroa enjoys bodybuilding at the gym, hiking at Lake Tahoe, and spending quality time with family.
