Biography
Mikye Miller is a graduate of McGeorge School of Law with over ten years of family law experience. Mikye accepts clients in multiple counties in Northern Nevada including, Washoe, Lyon, Churchill, Carson City, Humboldt, and other Northern Nevada Counties. Mikye is also an at-large member of the LGBT Section of the Nevada State Bar and regularly works with Nevada Legal Services in giving back to the community.
MJ Miller Law fulfills a lifelong dream: to run a law practice that puts the needs of children first and seeks collaborative resolution whenever possible. Mikye’s straightforward personality and clear communication style makes for a valuable asset for clients. They understand that each family is unique, but that at the end of the day the safety and wellbeing of children is the paramount concern in family law cases.
Mikye regularly handles family law matters with integrity and compassion. Mikye was Pro Bono Attorney of the Year in 2012 and then again in 2023 for the extensive work done with low-income family law clients. In 2022, Mikye was awarded the Nevada Legal Services – Northern Family Law Attorney Award at the 2023 Nevada Family Law Conference.
