Carmen English

Born in the quintessential international city of Geneva, Switzerland, Carmen English is a dual national attorney with United States and Swiss citizenship who has a passion for immigration law and advocating for the needs of others. Carmen attended the University of California, San Diego where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology in 2002. She went on to attend Thomas Jefferson School of Law to earn her Juris Doctorate in 2006. Carmen has been actively licensed to practice law in Nevada and California since 2007. She is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, State Bar of California, American Immigration Lawyers Association, Washoe County Bar Association and the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers for whom she served as Treasurer in 2010. After extensive travels, Carmen moved back to Reno where her family has roots dating back to 1905, the year her great-grandfather Santino Piazzo first set foot on Reno soil. Prior to opening English Law Practice, Carmen worked as an associate in a business litigation firm and an estate planning firm. She draws on her multifaceted background in litigation and transactional law to assist her clients in navigating the complex United States Immigration and Social Security systems.
