Biography
Theresa Ristenpart is an experienced trial attorney with over a decade of litigation in both civil and criminal matters. She is known for her aggressive and innovative trial strategies and winning difficult cases. Theresa incorporates the latest technology, utilizing 3D graphic animations and PowerPoints for closing arguments.
Theresa Ristenpart has been admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, 9th Circuit Appellate Court, and the Nevada State Bar.
In addition to her criminal defense trial work, Theresa Ristenpart is a senior adviser to the U.S. State Department for international projects, teaching judges, lawyers, and law enforcement officials from all over the world. She is an adjunct professor at University of Reno, Nevada where she teaches legal writing and research.
Ms. Ristenpart is the faculty academic adviser for the university mock trial team and presents continuing legal education courses with the State Bar of Nevada.
Theresa Ristenpart has lived in the Middle East and Southeast Asia working with international rule of law programs by teaching local national attorneys legal trial skills.
