Hostile Work Environment

Mr. Silverberg helped me settle a most unhealthy work situation. The local company had a hometown tag but treated employees like underlings and had no regards for equality in the workplace. They hated their human resource department and would not even office them in the corporate office. Mr. Silver...berg kept everyting in perspective and professional. The employer agreed to a mutual separation although they said they disagreed to our claims of a hostile work environment. Why else would they agree to our requests if they were not guilty? I applaud his aggressive approach.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"It is truly a privilege to endorse Ian Silverberg, a genuinely exceptional lawyer. It is difficult to summarize all of Ian's qualities in such a limited space for this review. One of Ian's greatest skills is simple- he truly cares about his clients. Ian does not take his role as an attorney lightly- he recognizes that his clients place a significant amount of trust in him. Many of his clients often face losing everything- their freedom, their ability to earn a living, their reputation, their financial wellbeing, or their families. You will not find a more hard working attorney in Reno. Ian excels in both oral advocacy and written argument. He is a skilled negotiator and has earned the respect of Judges and other lawyers in our community. As a colleague, when I have a legal issue I want to bounce off of someone else or get another viewpoint, I always call Ian. And if I ever personally need representation someday, I would not hesitate to hire Ian."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
