Stephen J. Mendenhall

Stephen Mendenhall is a third-generation Las Vegan who truly understands the community he serves. His path to the legal profession was deeply personal. After his wife was seriously injured by a drunk driver in 2014, they initially tried to navigate the insurance process alone. They quickly realized that insurance companies don't always play fair, and it was the help they received from Henness & Haight that inspired Stephen to become an attorney himself. Before law school, he spent two years providing humanitarian service in Paris, and that spirit of service followed him to the William S. Boyd School of Law. There, he excelled academically, earning top honors and dedicating over 150 hours to pro bono work. Having been a client before he was a lawyer, Stephen knows exactly what his clients are going through. He joined the firm as an attorney in 2019, driven by a passion to protect others. When he isn't in the office, you’ll likely find him at a Vegas Golden Knights game or spending time with his family. He remains active in his local church and loves giving back to the city he has always called home.
