Kjell S. Henness

Kjell Henness may have been born in Oregon, but he’s a Henderson local through and through. His path to the law was a bit of a journey, he actually started out studying stage acting in Virginia and spent two years doing volunteer work in Boston before finishing his political science degree at the University of Utah. Despite those varied experiences, Kjell knew exactly what he wanted to do since he was twelve years old: become an attorney so he could help people. He turned that childhood dream into reality at UNLV’s Boyd School of Law. While he was still a student, he started clerking for Henness & Haight, and after passing the bar on his first try, he officially joined the team as an associate. Today, Kjell is one of those lucky people who can truly say they love their job. He finds real fulfillment in helping his clients navigate some of the toughest moments of their lives. When he’s not in the office, Kjell is a dedicated family man who loves cheering on the Oregon Ducks, following Formula One, and meeting new people.
