Jason R. Maier

Jason Maier is a founding partner of the law firm Maier Gutierrez Ayon. His practice includes the representation of individuals and businesses, with a concentration in the areas of personal injury, business and commercial litigation. 

Prior to establishing the firm with his partners Luis Ayon and Joseph Gutierrez, Jason worked as an attorney with Beckley Singleton, one of Nevada’s most prestigious law firms at the time. It was during this time that he met Joseph Gutierrez, as a part of a three-attorney trial team that consistently took cases to trial, and won. 

Based on a track record of success at Beckley Singleton, the trial team was recruited by the international law firm Greenberg Traurig to establish a litigation practice in the firm’s Las Vegas office. At Greenberg Traurig, Jason successfully represented clients throughout all phases of civil litigation, including numerous arbitrations and trials. 

Early in his career, Jason worked as an attorney in the white collar litigation practice of Skadden Arps in Washington, D.C., where he represented national and international clients in various investigations by the federal government. Jason began his legal career as a law clerk for United States District Judge James C. Mahan (District of Nevada).

Since founding Maier Gutierrez Ayon, Jason has enjoyed having the opportunity to provide individuals, families and small businesses with the personal attention of a small law firm while still offering the diverse, proven legal experience found at large law firms.
