Biography
With more than two decades of experience, Holly Fic has established herself as a committed family law attorney and a compassionate advocate for families and vulnerable individuals. A graduate of UNLV and its Boyd School of Law, where she finished in the top third of her class, Holly began her legal career assisting with the Children’s Attorney Project and participating in the Child Welfare Clinic, sparking her lifelong dedication to family law. Over her career, she has frequently taken pro bono guardianship and family law cases, working closely with Legal Aid to represent protected persons and guardians. Holly has also served as a Pro Tem Hearing Master on matters including minor guardianships, mental health hearings, and family court discovery. She is a longstanding member of the State Bar of Nevada, the Family Law Section, and several bar associations. Holly brings her legal acumen and empathy to McFarling Cohen Fic & Squires, where she continues to serve the Las Vegas community. Outside of the courtroom, Holly is passionate about animal welfare and actively volunteers at the Henderson Animal Shelter.
Holly Fic was born and raised in New Jersey and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 1997 and, her Juris Doctor from UNLY Boyd School of Law in 2001. She has been a member of the State Bar of Nevada since 2001.
Over the years, Holly has taken many Family Law pro bono cases, most especially with respect to guardianship and family law cases. Holly works in conjunction with Legal Aid to represent many Protected Persons to have a voice in their guardianship proceedings and has helped many guardians along the
