Jessica M. Goodey practices in all areas of civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury, family law and business. Jessica will use her knowledge and experience to ensure that every client obtains the maximum compensation for his or her case through fierce negotiation techniques and personal attention.
Jessica also offers valuable and significant courtroom experience, as she has conducted several bench and jury trials, as well as routinely appearing on
Motions and other written briefs. Jessica is passionate about her work and dedicated to her clients.
Prior to her position with Greenberg & Goodey, Jessica represented small and large business across the Las Vegas valley as an associate with Marquis Aurbach, Coffing. During her three years there, Jessica worked in all areas of the law, including business litigation, personal injury and bankruptcy. Jessica also represented many of the largest companies in Las Vegas during her time as an associate at Jackson Lewis, a prestigious national firm, where she focused her practice on employment defense. Jessica also had significant success at Lloyd Baker Injury Attorneys, where she received a jury verdict in excess of $3 million.
An Illinois native, Jessica graduated in 2007 from University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor of arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Italian. Jessica received her juris doctor in 2010 from Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where she was participated in and won several awards at mock trial competitions, including taking first place and the First
Annual Society of Advocates Mock Trial Competition. During law school, Jessica was recognized for receiving the highest grade in her Trial Advocacy class, and received a Dean’s Award for her contributions to the school. Jessica also volunteered for Street Law, a program designed to implement the practice of law in Las Vegas’ at-risk city high schools.
In pursuit of her clinical legal education, Jessica participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic in which she served as a student attorney representing kids through the juvenile criminal system.
Jessica brings her background and experience to each of her client’s cases. She is knowledgeable in law and thorough in her understanding of the facts of every case. More importantly, Jessica makes it a point to get to know each of her clients on a personal level and communicate with them on a regular basis regarding the status of their cases. Jessica is adamant about representing her clients’ interests, and she makes herself available to clients for questions or concerns.
