Katherine L. Provost

Katherine L. Provost, Esq. is a graduate of Montclair State University and Seton Hall University, School of Law. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Clark County Bar Association, and State Bar of Nevada. She is also a  member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and Nevada Justice Association.  Since 2005, Ms. Provost has been an elected member of the Executive Council of the State Bar of Nevada, Family Law Section, presently serving as the Chair of this 300+ member section.

Ms.  Provost is a highly respected attorney in the Southern Nevada community and her interests are in the areas of military divorce, parentage issues, and the use of alternative dispute resolution in divorce when possible.  Ms. Provost regularly lectures state wide on family law topics including child support and child custody.  More recently Ms. Provost has begun handling parentage and domestic partnership cases. 

Ms. Provost has practiced with The Dickerson Law Group for the last 10 years and enjoys working with a law firm dedicated to assisting people with understanding at their most difficult times in life. Ms. Provost is a skilled litigator who is also trained in collaborative practice. Ms. Provost's desire for all of her cases is to ensure her client understands all of the options available to resolve a dispute, including litigation and alternate, out-of-court resolution opportunities. Ms. Provost believes that a successful outcome requires cooperation between the attorney and the client, allowing her clients the ability to make informed decisions for themselves and their children.
