Peter M. Rinato

After refusing to communicate at all, Mr. Rinato has failed to provide agreed upon shares of his earnings and commissions to pay his share of an equal stake in a high interest car loan that was arranged by him to set up a trip that would allow me, his partner at the time, the opportunity to explore ...a possible investment in our joint business venture, which formally shut down. Mr. Rinato shut down communication, left me high and dry with the responsibility to pay the $480+ monthly interest against my car, while Mr. Rinato made only one payment in Dec. 2013 and has failed to make any additional payments since then. While we were partners and while Mr. Rinato was acting as legal counsel to our joint business venture, Mr. Rinato also had power of attorney for my finances and worked on my back taxes. During that time, he made several mistakes that almost cost any chance of a settlement with the IRS. Fortunately, I worked out a separate deal with the IRS and did the research myself and the IRS finally accepted MY offer in compromIse last month. This after I paid Mr. Rinato $1200 to do this tax preparation work. I wish this had played out differently. It certainly was extremely disappointing and highly unprofessional. . .At the bottom line, the fact that Mr. Rinato has not permitted direct communication even has extended to a rebuff he gave to an esteeemed mutual friend who attempted to encourage Mr. Rinato to call or meet with me. to discuss the above and a few other related matters I have left out that fall into the same categoiry of professional negligence. All the above is 100 percent true and as such, it is extremely difficult for me to endorse Mr. Rinato's professional ethics and his committments which he himself outlined in hand written notes and E-mails to me dating back to the late summer of 2013. A solution? Should you be able to discreetly arrange a direct meeting between myself and Mr. Rinato, (supervised by your organization or just Mr. Rinato and myself together at a sensible location), that would be a major step in the right direction.
