Michael Christopher Linton

After finishing his enlistment in the United States Navy, Michael moved to Las Vegas to attend UNLV as an Entrepreneurship major. In 2010, he graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

In law school, Michael was the Editor-in-Chief of the UNLV Gaming Law Journal and Vice President of Philanthropy for the Gaming Law Society. He graduated from the William S. Boyd School of law at UNLV with Cum Laude distinction.

Michael worked full-time in the hospitality industry while he pursued his bachelor’s degree as a full-time student at UNLV. As an undergraduate student, he held positions as a Revenue Analyst and a Hotel Manager at Wynn Las Vegas and Caesars Palace. Michael then joined as General Manager of where he oversaw the operation of a travel oriented e-commerce website that generated over $100 million in annual gross bookings.

Before attending UNLV's law school, Michael joined Orbitz Worldwide where he grew his network in the Nevada hotel community while overseeing the market for a publicly traded, travel focused e-commerce company. When Orbitz Worldwide was acquired by Expedia, Inc. in 2015, Michael joined Travel Tripper as a Business Development Director. In this capacity, he oversaw all business development efforts in the mountain region for a privately held travel technology company. After graduating law school, Michael accepted a position as Legal Counsel for Travel Tripper. He is currently licensed with the State Bar of Nevada and is also admitted to practice Law in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.

From 2009-2012 Michael founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Night Owl Party Accessories, a company that manufactured and nationally distributed a product called the Pre-Game Party Pack. In this company, Michael developed a product concept, had it manufactured abroad, and successfully sold over 5,000 units both domestically and internationally.

Michael was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He lived in Severna Park, Maryland until he was 17 years old, when he enlisted in the United States Navy. While in the Navy, he served aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard in San Diego, California and the USS John F Kennedy in Mayport, Florida. Michael has been a Las Vegas resident since 2007. He lives with his wife, Emily, and their two-year old daughter.
