Sean McDonald

I primarily practice ERISA, labor law, and general civil litigation. I joined my firm as a law clerk and became an associate upon being admitted to the Nevada Bar. Our firm focuses on union representation in unfair labor practice proceedings, election disputes, grievance processing, collective bargaining agreement negotiations, and general litigation needs. Our firm also represents several large Taft-Hartley Trust Funds. We represent those funds in collection matters, asset management, fund and plan design, and general litigation.

I graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2012. While in law school, I served on the Nevada Law Journal, received Dean’s List honors, and earned CALI Awards for Excellence for earning the highest grade in two courses, Legislation & Statutory Interpretation and Criminal Procedure - Investigation. During law school, I served as a legal extern and lobbyist with Snell & Wilmer’s Government Affairs unit during the 2011 legislative session in Carson City.

Prior to attending law school, I received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Reno. During my undergraduate studies, I served two terms as an elected student senator and was inducted into Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities.

I am a member of the State Bar of Nevada, admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Nevada and all Nevada state courts. I am admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. I am also admitted to practice in the State of Washington, admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington and all Washington State courts.
