Certainly possible since Nevada would report the DUI to California.

Not exactly correct... Generally charged but not convicted one can get a bond. Convicted no bond for anyone.

You can always apply to the court for a change in custody and or visitation status.

Same thing almost. You extend your visa, your I-94 gets extended to stay longer.

Your chances of receiving a visa again are not very good since you overstayed. With that said non-immigrant waivers do not need a qualifying...
