If you marry a citizen. are here in the us legally and file the papers, you can obtain a work permit.
Can a Legal Permanent Resident work in marijuana dispensary? Will that make it hard to become a citizen or renew my green card?

I would not do it. If the place gets raided by the Feds you will be in serious trouble.

Did he enter with a visa? If not, I suggest you consult with a lawyer. If he has to depart to fix, he will trigger a 10 year ban on returning.
