Odd how different people have different experiences. Let me just say that I tried to get SS Disability on my own the first time in April 2014 and as had been told by many that I would automatically be declined and was. After this I realized that "the machine" was much bigger than I am and so couldn...'t fight my claim for SSA Disability by myself. I hired DAA to represent me on a "new" claim with pretty much the exact same information from my first try on March 2015. My claim was accepted and am now on SSA Disability as of March 2015. I received my first Benefit Direct Deposit in November 2015. I am still waiting for the payments that are backdated to last March and DAA is trying to see when this will happen on my behalf. For those of you that seem to be having problems with your claim, my experience tells me that the problem isn't DAA, it is with SSA and the nature of your claim. I always did my due diligence to respond to requests for more information ASAP and had all of my documentation in order before I hired DAA to represent me. The rest was up to DAA and SSA. The agreed upon settlement with SSA included Attorney fees (which are less than I thought they would be) are paid directly from SSA to DAA I paid nothing out of pocket except for having a valid claim and a firm to represent me.
