Ofelia Markarian

Ofelia Markarian was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. At the age of seven, she and her family moved to Brooklyn, New York in pursuit of a better life. After living in Brooklyn for seven years, the family moved again, this time to Las Vegas, Nevada. Ms. Markarian attended Northern Arizona University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Merchandising and Public Relations. Ofelia was also an active member of Northern Arizona Merchandising Association, where she also served as President.

Before attending law school, Ms. Markarian worked in high end fashion where she learned the importance of establishing personal relationships with her clients. Ms. Markarian graduated 4th in her class from Arizona Summit Law School in 2016. During her law school career, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Hugh Hegyi in Maricopa County Superior Court, was a recipient of the Arizona Summit Law School Merit Scholarship and was an intern for the Never Again Foundation.

Following law school, Ms. Markarian interned for Goodman Law Group and Palazzo Law Firm, firms that focused on criminal cases, providing her with extensive trial experience. Ms. Markarian represented a broad spectrum of clients. Handling family matters involving complex equitable distribution settlements, alimony, pre-nuptial agreements, and a broad range of complex civil litigation, including personal injury, medical malpractice, and business disputes, representing companies such as the Las Vegas Sands Corporation. From small conflicts to emergency court hearings, Ms. Markarian fights for the interests of her clients both in and out of court.

Her practice focuses on criminal defense, family law and personal injury. Ms. Markarian is fluent in Armenian, Russian and English. Ms. Markarian believes that the law is a powerful tool, each client deserves justice and each and every case is held to the upmost importance. Ms. Markarian is a people’s lawyer who never backs down from a fight for justice.
