Morgan’s diverse legal background and natural drive to help others provide her with the essential tools to effectively advocate for her clients.
Morgan began her career at the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, where she worked on high-stakes matters involving homicide, special victims, elder abuse, major fraud, and appellate work. Notably, her forensic presentation for a major homicide trial set a new standard for future criminal case presentations in the district. During this time, she also collaborated with the Nevada Attorney General’s Office on a joint prosecution and became a certified victim advocate, helping human trafficking survivors navigate the justice system. A passionate advocate for mental health, she also successfully spearheaded the approval and procurement of a courthouse facility dog for Clark County.
Transitioning to private practice, Morgan gained pre-litigation and civil litigation experience including medical malpractice while she worked at a large personal injury firm. She then moved in-house as corporate counsel for a prominent local real estate developer. In this role, she navigated complex business strategies, corporate dealings, and a vast array of specialty practice areas, including employment, environmental, mining, construction, trust, and bankruptcy law. Her corporate practice frequently required direct collaboration with regulatory and community agencies, including OSHA, the EEOC, the BLM, the local labor union, and the Las Vegas Valley Water District.
Morgan then transitioned into estate planning and probate law. She designed tailored asset-protection strategies, drafted both simple and complex trusts, and guided families through the uncontested probate process.
Morgan now is a Partner at the Richard Harris Law Firm serving as Special Counsel where she uses her unique skillset to assist clients.
Community Involvement & Personal Life
Deeply rooted in her community, Morgan is the founder of Dogs of Las Vegas, a local nonprofit and page dedicated to promoting mental wellness through animal companionship (“Pawsitive Mental Health”). She is an active member of the American Bar Association and the Nevada Bar Association (including the Young Lawyers, Probate and Trust, Real Property Law, and Construction Law sections), as well as her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha. Outside of the office, she enjoys playing tennis, shopping, spending time with her dog, and cheering on the Vegas Golden Knights.
