Jeffrey Martin Scarborough

Jeff M. Scarborough graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations. At UCLA, Jeff was a member of the Pre-Law Society and UCLA’s Ski Team.

Jeff moved to Las Vegas and graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While in law school, Jeff became a teaching assistant to a legal research and writing professor and earned CALI Awards (highest grade in class) in two courses, Pretrial Litigation and Advanced Advocacy in Pleadings and Motions, respectively. During law school, Jeff also served as an Editor for the Nevada Law Journal, competed in moot court on behalf of Boyd School of Law, and gained valuable experience interning for Justice Michael L. Douglas in the Supreme Court of Nevada.

Upon graduation from law school, Jeff served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael P. Villani of the Eighth Judicial District located in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a law clerk, Jeff encountered a wide-range of legal issues while working on Judge Villani’s split Civil/Criminal docket, including complex issues in personal injury. Further, Jeff performed extensive legal research, prepared bench memoranda, drafted orders, and generally assisted Judge Villani with handling his large case docket.

Prior to joining Richard Harris Law Firm, Jeff practiced primarily in plaintiff’s personal injury and employment law. In 2017, Jeff brought his experience and strong interest in personal injury to Richard Harris Law Firm.

In his spare time, Jeff enjoys traveling, snowboarding, attending concerts, and watching the Los Angeles Dodgers.
