Deidre J. Call

Deidre J. Call is a transactional attorney with 29 years of experience in Nevada representing local, regional and national clients in diverse industries during all phases of their business cycles. She has personally envisioned, structured, negotiated, documented, closed, and otherwise consummated many of the transactions a typical business experiences, including many multi-million dollar transactions. She is an attorney who understands the 24/7 demands of business, and she uses her expertise to help businesses make hard decisions, take calculated risks, and create short-term and long-term strategies to facilitate growth and success. She is skilled at transforming the "big picture" ideas of her clients into complete, cohesive and clear agreements, and she helps her clients to resolve potential issues, overcome obstacles and seize opportunities. Deidre serves as outside General Counsel for small businesses in Nevada. Deidre has an unusual breadth of experience in diverse areas of law, such as contracts, real property, commercial, corporate, administrative, business, health, entertainment, intellectual property and municipal law, among others. She serves on the ABA Committee on Legal Opinions. Deidre grew up in Idaho and Utah, and moved to Nevada in 1996 after receiving her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Duke University School of Law. Deidre also graduated with a B.A. from Brigham Young University, Cum Laude, with University Honors. During her first five years as a transactional lawyer, Deidre worked for Lionel Sawyer & Collins, the largest law firm in Nevada, assisting clients in real estate and commercial transactions. She then worked as a Deputy City Attorney for North Las Vegas in the Civil Division, representing the City Council, Planning Commission and City departments. After leaving the City in 2005, Deidre continued to practice real estate, business and commercial transactions law at well-regarded law firms in Nevada, prior to opening her own law firm. Deidre now serves as Associate Division Counsel for the Las Vegas Division of DR Horton, Inc.
