Linda Day was pleasant the first day I met her until she reviewed my case, realized my guilt, and then every time I saw her after that she was just very short and unpleasant. She would not answer letters I wrote, not a single response. I had to hound her to send my discoveries. She would say one d...ay in open court that we were scheduling a bond hearing, then that date would come and go and then months would pass with no hearing and then the next encounter with her in court she would tell me "oh you're not getting a bond". So not only did she make assumptions on my outcomes without even trying she would have no explanation for her reasoning and she would leave me high and dry with no information on upcoming or cancelled court appearances. She had no immediate knowledge of the RICO statute and would give me what I imagine now were guesses since many of her answers to my auesstions later turned out to be false. She chain hit her vape during the final zoom court appearance and she was always dishoveled looking. Aside from being just a very disagreeable woman to put it nicely it was clear almost immediately that she just didn't care or put any time trying to mitigate my circumstances. I received a 15 year to serve sentence for stealing mail resulting in less than $200,000 in damages to victims credit cards and never had a bond in 18 months or a bond hearing for that matter. She has 23 years experience and works for the conflict defenders office and judging from her personality and demeanor it is not because she has a passion for public service.
