In filing for divorce you can send to last known address and legal notice in newspaper.

Mt brother is dangerous. He is now getting a divorce and his ex is trying to supoena me. I am afraid to testify. What do I do?

Divorces are no fault incompatibility so it is unlikely you will be drug into their case. If lawyer asks tell him you have no intention of helping...

You won't need a lawyer unless you are charged with criminal fraud.

Sounds like you need to find a more reasonable lawyer. An amendment is very simple.
Do you get something that says you cyfd case is closed? Does the social service say we can't work with kids or does a judge?

Your case doesn't sound closed. You get a lawyer appointed to answer these questions.
