Stay Away

This lawyer has an EXTENSIVE history of ethical misconduct. Pay close attention to how he responds to negative reviews: not only does he defend the indefensible, but he also threatens and reveals information that could severely harm an immigrant. Michael Hendricks doesn't care if you run out of money..., as long as he keeps doing whatever he wants without anyone setting limits for him. I have witnessed direct threats from this lawyer, using his title as a weapon against vulnerable communities. It's shameful that someone with such a lack of ethics continues to operate without consequences. It's not just what I've seen, but also what others have shared: a clear pattern of abuse of power and disdain for the most needy. I hope ATTORNEY MICHAEL HENDRICKS, owner and founder of Hendricks Law, reads this review and knows that his conduct will not remain hidden. I don't want others to suffer the consequences of trusting him. I urge you to seek someone with principles, respect, and values. There are many lawyers in Albuquerque willing to help immigrants, and Michael is not one of them.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
