Chris graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2009 where he received the 2009 Medal of Excellence in Bankruptcy from the American Bankruptcy Institute. He earned his undergraduate degree from New Mexico State University in 1998 in Fishery Biology.
Chris is a member of the Bankruptcy section of the State Bar of New Mexico where he practices primarily in bankruptcy representing individual and small business debtors and creditors in Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 cases.
Chris is admitted in the State Bar of New Mexico and the US District Court, District of New Mexico, and holds memberships in the American Bar Association, the Albuquerque Bar Association, and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
He also served in the US Air Force, 1990 – 1994.
Chris is also a husband and a father of two girls. When not spending time with his family he plays computer, console, and table-top games. He also likes to read, fly fish, camp, and play guitar.
