Alexandra Cervantes

I am a trial lawyer who represents people who have suffered life-altering injuries at the hands of large corporations. I am a proud New Mexican. Before becoming a lawyer, I planned a career in medicine, got my degrees in Biology and Psychology, and began medical school training. Seeing firsthand how people could be harmed by corporations' systemic failures, I shifted gears to pursue a law degree so I could advocate for people on a broader level.

I graduated first in my law school class, and clerked for two federal judges: first on the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and then on the district court for the District of Wyoming.

Now, I use my science background in my practice of law, analyzing accident reconstruction data, decoding complex records, and working with experts to figure out what went wrong. I bring an intellectual rigor to the courtroom, where I am known for meticulous preparation, a deep command of both medicine and law, and clear, persuasive trial advocacy.

Out in the Local Community

I was born and raised in Las Cruces. As a proud New Mexican, I care deeply about my home and its people. Whether I am in the courtroom, the classroom, or out in the community, my goal is always the same: to protect, support, and advocate for those who need it most.
