Defendant was charged with sixteen felony counts including attempted murder, weapons charges, and burglary in Nassau County. The victim testified that he witnessed the defendant enter his home and sh ... oot him three times at point blank range before fleeing the premises. A previous jury voted 8-4 to aquit in (11/08). The People refiled charges and the defendant was found not guilty after the jury deliberated for just an hour (3/09).
