We filed a protective against mom, and then mom subsequently filed a petition for a protective order against our client. During the trial, we took her primary witness on voir dire and got them to state ... that they were not present during the alleged violence, thus excluding him as a witness. In the end, our client was granted a protective order against mom.

Our firm was retained to take a highly contested child custody case that had been on file for several years. Our client came to us after being told that what she wanted was not possible by several prom ... inent attorneys. She previously hired two very well known and respected divorce attorneys only to be told that they could not achieve what she wanted. After reviewing her existing order, which had her jumping through hoops to satisfy the other party, we discovered a flaw and put a stop to it. After several days in trial, the jury found in favor of our client giving her sole custody of the kids. Our client was accused of domestic violence and was in the middle of a protective order trial when we were contacted. We normally DO NOT take last minute cases but we felt that the person was not being ... properly represented. We worked all night to prepare for the next day. After a few days of trial, the protective order against our client was denied and a protective order against our client's spouse was granted.
