Ms. Wellborn is actively practicing law in Arizona and California. Ms. Wellborn is originally from California where she earned her J.D. Degree at Western State University College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts Degree at California State University Long Beach, where she achieved high academic honors and was awarded The McNair Scholarship.
In 2014, Ms. Wellborn was presented with the prestigious Mark Santana Law-Related Education Award. This award recognizes exceptional contributions of Arizona attorneys in furthering education and understanding of the role of the law in our democratic society. In 2020, Ms. Wellborn was awarded the “Top 10” award by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys. The National Academy of Family Law Attorneys is an organization devoted to recognizing the top family law attorneys in the nation; the award is exclusively presented to those attorneys who show an extraordinary amount of knowledge, skill, experience, expertise and success in their practice of family law.
Ms. Wellborn has been the Town of Parker Prosecutor for more than six years and a Special Prosecutor for the Colorado River Indian Tribes in addition to her private practice. Ms. Wellborn also had the privilege of coaching the Lake Havasu High School’s Mock Trial Team, helping them to earn a number of first place awards.
