THEN the workers compensation insurer wanted to receive several hundred thousand dollars of the settlement, resulting in a second level of litigation, including a Medicare set-aside agreement, before the case was fully resolved. This was a complex case with an excellent result for our clients, Mr. and Mrs. Reed and their children.
