Abandons Clients and Never Goes to Trial

Ms. Walsh now works in the Phoenix office of Goldberg & Osborne (G&O), along with "attorney" Mr. Shalen at 44th St. and Thomas. My auto accident occurred right out their front windows at the same intersection. G&O staff were very happy to see this accident happen over 2.25 years ago. They encouraged ...racking up bills, which I refused to do, but kept it real. The reason for going to G&O in the first place was that they had their 'eagle' shingle out in my face at the time of collision, time for medical recovery, and no need to haggle with adjusters. Eight months after being released from medicals, the idiots at Goldberg & Osborne failed to submit a claim to the adjusters. Then they waited 16 more months, days before the limitation statute, and had Ms. Walsh file a complaint with the court. After the complaint was filed G&O had Ms. Walsh then talk to the insurance adjuster(s). Of course any reasonable claim would be denied with such last minute conduct. Of course the defendant was unavailable for process service. Of course G&O, and Mr. Shalen had their lapdog Ms. Walsh file a motion for more time to serve the defendant, and piggybacked it to a MOTION FOR WITHDRAW ASKING THAT (THE CLIENT) CONTINUE TO SERVE THE DEFENDANT! SIMPLY PUT, GOLDBERG & OSBORNE IS A SETTLEMENT MILL AND NOTHING MORE. THEY DON'T TAKE CASES THROUGH THE COURTS. They use new attorneys like Ms. Walsh to take the fall. Unfortunately the ax will fall upon Ms. Walsh having signed the documents as a licensed attorney. Hopefully Mr. Shalen will fall too through a petition for special action in the State's licensing court. As for Goldberg and Osborne, a special website is long past due warning others to take their cases elsewhere. VERY, VERY BAD LAW FIRM!! AND, VERY BAD ATTORNEYS!

Awesome customer service

This attorney was able to help me when I was not sure where to turn. She was very client focused and dedicated to making my accident experience as pleasant as possible. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a true advocate.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
