In almost two years of handling an estate issue, we were provided inaccurate guidance that cost the estate appropriately $25000 in unnecessary legal fees (paid to apposing counsel). As the case neared the end, Ms Holcomb withdrew as counsel - not returning a single phone call or email, just a few da...ys prior to the hearing. To verify that Ms Holcomb was incorrect in her approach and guidance, the new counsel resolved the case within a month for under $5000 in legal fees. Additionally Ms Holcomb filed in court for payment, knowing the minimal current account balance and then hired legal counsel to represent her in the collection. This caused additional delay in closing the estate. We initially trusted her as she appeared goodhearted and caring. But we found her to have minimal competence and without scruples.
