I had a case against me several years ago, and the daughter of this family was vandalizing our house. I called to leave a message right after I had discovered their final vandalism (at 2 in the morning) and he quickly returned my call. I had no intention of bothering him, and didn't actually expect a... return call. For the most part, he had Michael Penrod defending me, and that guy worked his ass off for me. We got nickeled and dimed to death, but he got my case dismissed. My only problem is that he often assigns another lawyer named Dirk to my cases, and I don't feel he puts much effort into defending me. He's a perfectly nice person, but I want someone as enthusiastic about defending me as I am. Because of Dirk I have a charge that is preventing me from getting a job. I was talked into accepting a plea and I feel that's the worst thing I've ever agreed to. I realize that Ron is busy, but he's actually the one we want defending me when we contact his office.

Mr. Wood is an absolutely amazing attorney. From day one he has gone above and beyond to get justice for my family. At the hardest time in our lives, he saved us. His knowledge of law and appropriate aggressiveness was comforting and he quickly gained my trust. He kept me informed and was very timel...y in answering my many questions. He got us an amazing outcome and has even counseled us on matters that did not directly pertain to the case we hired him for. I am so happy that Ron was recommended to me; he honestly saved my life. Thank you so much, Ron!

He told my husband he would spend a yr and s half in prison that was suppose to be july 24th . Well my husband is still in thete . No point in calling him after he gets hour money u don't deserve a call back. The psprr work is srong . But ron won't do anything sbout if . I live in salt lake what cab ...I do ? The court papers are wrong

Initially Mr. Wood seemed like a perfect choice to help my brother with a legal matter. After handing over a $3500 retainer, my family was dismayed when Mr. Wood did NOTHING for my brother. He did not show up to court, he made no effort to file anything, he contacted NO ONE, and performed not one sin...gle task one would expect of a lawyer. The only time he ever responded to us was when we requested some or all of our retainer to be refunded. He promptly informed us that he would refund NONE of it. Please don't mistake this as the rantings of a client who was unstatisfied with the outcome of a case. My review is strictly about the quantity and quality of this attorney. Our outcome legal-wise was fine after we sought assistance from another source who actually performed work, and had Mr. Wood done anything, we would have likely had the same positive outcome. But he simply did nothing and still expected to keep our money. I promise you, your money and time would be better spent on another lawyer who takes his clients and his job seriously.
