Steven J Itkin

For over two decades, Steve Itkin has represented lenders in the areas of secured and unsecured creditors’ remedies. His clients include national, regional and local financial institutions as well as individual lenders and debt acquisition companies. His areas of practice include lien enforcement rights such as trustee’s sales, mortgage and tax lien foreclosures, forfeitures of contracts for sale of real property, as well as replevins, attachments, garnishments, agricultural liens, landlord liens and the defense of civil forfeiture actions.

With prior experience as a licensed real estate agent in Arizona, Steve also provides representation in real estate transactions, landlord/tenant relationships, matters relating to easements, deed restrictions, and to homeowner and condominium associations.

Steve is a Legislative Committee member and past Director of the Arizona Trustee Association, a member of the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, a founding member, Director, and member of the Legislative Committee of the Arizona Creditor Bar Association, and a member of the Real Property Section of the State Bar of Arizona. Steve serves on the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Creative Broadcasting, dba KXCI, Tucson's Community Radio and also served on the Board of Directors for United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Arizona from 1995 to 2010.

Mr. Itkin is licensed to practice law in State, Federal and Tribal Courts in Arizona. Steve also maintains a network of Tribal counsel and advocates for creditor representations in Tribal Courts throughout the United States.
