A debt is over 4 yrs old and I am being summoned to Court. I was served 1 yr ago, the Court intended to dismiss .

At this point it may not be his to sell. It probably belongs to the bankruptcy estate.

Conversion to chapter 7 might be an option but you must be ready to catch up the car payment if you want to keep it.
