Ms.

Eventhough bankruptcy is usually a step back in life, it abled me to move on. Kathy helped me decide which type of bankruptcy to file, kept me informed with the process and helped me even after the fact (years later) when applying for a new house! That's a committed lawyer!

Knowledgable and professional

I was divorced for almost one year prior to needing bankruptcy legal advice. I made a phone call to Kathryn after reading reviews and recommendations from the State Bar of Arizona website, During our consultation meeting I decided that she was the right attorney to advocate my interest. I have neve...r regretted my instincts about trusting her to guide me through this complicated process! One issue we faced was that my ex wife had pawned two prized antiques, inherited from my late father, without my knowledge or permission. Kathryn, knew the steps we needed to take in order for me to regain possession of these artifacts. Although I had to submit money to my Bankruptcy Trustee, I was able to keep my antiques to one day pass down to my children. I highly recommend Kathy Johnson to anyone that needs a personal bankruptcy attorney!

Outstanding Performance and Support!

Kathy, Provided great service related to my Chapter 13, throughout the 5-year term. Kathy was always available for any reason and clarification.

A new start

I REALLY needed help after my divorce when creditors threatened garnishment and we're harassing. Kathy looked over my debt and exclaimed my options and the law concerning my joint debt. Nobody wants bankruptcy but it gave me a fresh start and the chance to be debt free from years of financial chaos... I didn't create by myself. In the end it was the best thing I ever did!! She walked me through the process and was always available when I had questions. I highly recommend her to anyone facing feeling overwhelmed and scared by their finances.

I Highly Recommed Kathryn Johnson

Bankruptcy was a very difficult decision but I came to the conclusion that it was my only option. When I consulted with Kathryn Johnson she treated me with respect and understanding. She took the time to explain every step of the process: what I needed to do, what she would do and what the Court... would do. She answered all my questions promptly and provided excellent guidance throughout the entire process. I would not hesitate to recommend her,

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
